Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic type of yoga that involves coordinating yoga poses with the breath in a flowing sequence. Vinyasa emphasizes connecting movement and breath, creating a balance of body and mind throughout the class.
Although no prior yoga experience is required, participants should have a basic level of functional fitness, as Vinyasa yoga can involve both strength and balance. All poses can be modified to match each student’s experience level.
Participants should bring their own yoga mat or towel, wear comfortable clothing that allows for a wide range of motion, and bring a sweater or hoodie and a pair of socks for comfort in the final resting pose.
