There will also be another session of this workshop on Sunday, August 30 from 12:30 - 1:30pm.Back by popular demand after sold-out classes at the SF Stationery Fest, this hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop invites you to explore the art of junk journaling. You'll learn how to transform everyday “junk” like paper ephemera, packaging, and found materials into a personal journal that celebrates memory keeping, creativity, and storytelling. We’ll explore simple techniques for layering, gluing, and journaling with intention, while embracing imperfection and play.Each attendee will receive a junk journal starter kit, including a small journal, glue stick, and a curated junk scrap pack, so you can jump right in and continue creating long after the festival ends. Please bring your own scissors and any additional journaling materials you’d like to use.This class will be taught by Bay Area content creator and lifelong junk journaler, Alexandria (@alexandria.x.g), who has built a social media following by sharing approachable, easy-to-follow junk journaling ideas that encourage everyday creativity.Please note: Photos and video may be taken during the session for marketing and social media purposes.
