Fairways to Futures Golf Day
The Careers Team at Coomealla High School is excited to announce the inaugural Fairways to Futures Golf Day, taking place on 27th February at Coomealla Golf Club.
This event is designed to build lasting connections between our school, local industry, and business partners. Thanks to generous grants from Wentworth Shire Council, this event will now become a much-anticipated annual tradition.
We are deeply grateful for the incredible community support, with donations from Murray Downs Golf Resort, which has provided a luxurious Stay and Play package, and Mildura Golf Resort, offering a round of golf for four people, including carts. Mildura Cruises has contributed a special bus trip, and prizes have been generously brought by Banjo’s Bakery, Gol Gol Bakery, Drummond Golf Range, and Coomealla Club.
Altogether, our prize pool exceeds $5,000, ensuring plenty of excitement for all participants.

First in Net Score
Second and Third Place
Nearest the Pin (NTP) on all Par 3 holes
Lucky Ticket Draws
Last Place Prize
Business Card Draw
Please bring your business card to be entered in the special Business Card Draw.
Additionally, there is a major challenge on Hole 18—a $10,000 Hole-in-One prize that adds a thrilling incentive for golfers to showcase their skills.
The main goal of this event is to build stronger relationships with local employers and industry, creating more work experience opportunities for our students while making the day on the course enjoyable and memorable.
