‘A Journey with Grief: Exploring Loss Through Photography and Poetry’ showcases poetry taken in the three-month period following the loss of a loved one, accompanied by poetry written during the same period.

Photographer Liz Jakimow invites you on a journey through her personal experience of grief. Captured in the three months following her own loss, her photographs portray her emotional journey through the images that spoke to her during that time. Photography became both a refuge and a reflection of her inner turmoil. Liz's work also explored the cycle of life and death within nature and highlighted the beauty that could be found even in the darkest moments.

Alongside Liz Jakimow's photography, the book also include some of Liz's heartfelt and emotive poetry. These poems invite readers to consider their own questions and emotions related to grief, and find solace in shared experiences.
