L’edizione di quest’anno, del tutto speciale, si svolge sempre nella zona del Municipio 8, ma al Teatro Out Off, e si chiama Notturni OFF. Fuori da Villa Simonetta, in un teatro storicamente off, ma sempre con un programma in cinque intense e ricche serate musicali che ben rappresentano la vocazione civica della città di Milano e che accompagnano l'estate del pubblico milanese.Breve concerto introduttivo della rassegna Notturni OFF, Prélude apre il ciclo con J. S. Bach e il recitativo Wiewohl mein Herz in Tränen schwimmt (Sebbene il mio cuore sia inondato di lacrime) e l'aria Ich will dir meine Herz schenken (Voglio donarti il mio cuore) da La Passione secondo Matteo, capolavoro vocale sacro composto a Lipsia nel 1727 in cui la crocifissione stessa è il punto d'arrivo, la sorgente della redenzione. Il programma si alleggerisce con Mozart e Ch'io mi scordi di te? ... Non temer, amato bene, aria con recitativo da concerto scritta nel 1786, e prosegue con Camille Saint- Saëns e la sua Violons dans le soir del 1907, melodia appassionata per voce, violino e pianoforte, composta su una poesia di Anna de Noailles, opera che si distingue per l’intimo dialogo tra la voce e il violino e che illustra il dolore e l'entusiasmo provocati dall'amore. Segue il Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune, primo grande lavoro sinfonico di Debussy, brano ormai notissimo ispirato a una poesia di Stephane Mallarmé inabissata dans la nostalgie e dans la lumière, avec finesse, avec malaise, avec richesse e ricco di reminiscenze allusive e inafferrabili, composto tra il 1892 e il 1894. La chiusura è costituita da un collage di brani di cantautori riletti in chiave classica: Impropera.
