The Mid-Del Amateur radio club will be hosting a public ARRL Field Day event at Joe B Barnes Park in Midwest City. map

When: Saturday June 27, and Sunday June 28th

On Saturday 6/27, we will open to the public from Noon-10pm.  We will also be holding a VE Test session at 3pm-5pm for those wishing to get / upgrade their Amateur Radio license.

On Sunday 6/28, we will be open tot he public from 9am-1pm.

The day will help enhance those already important skills of those who generously volunteer their time and equipment to these organizations. Preparedness is the key to a professional and timely response during any event, and this is what local and state authorities are expecting when they reach out to emergency service groups that offer their services.

MEMBERS
Members we will start setup at 10am on Saturday, and teardown by 1pm on Sunday. Any help is appreciated. We also need members to operate radios, speak with the public,, etc. Please come by and help with event if you are available.  Also please bring your own chair as the club chairs will be dedicated to operator use, testing, and guests.
