- **Event Description**: Each year as the Christmas season comes to a close and the light of Epiphany dawns,  we gather for our annual Epiphany Dinner—a celebration of welcome and God’s ever-expanding love made known in Christ. The dinner will be held on January 6, 2026, in Fellowship Hall.

Hosted by the staff of Holly Hill and members of Midway Christian Church, the dinner is both a feast and a spiritual practice. Rooted in the story of the Magi who followed a star and offered gifts with open hands, this meal invites us to do the same: to share freely, to give without expectation, and to bless one another just as we have been blessed.

Traditionally this meal has been a fundraiser for Midway Christian Church. However, this year in the spirit of widening our table, please pay what you are able or simply come be a guest. The focus is not on obligation but on cultivating a culture of compassion and abundance.

We gather around tables for food, conversation, and reflection, honoring the diversity within our community and celebrating the inclusive love of God that continues to be revealed in every act of justice and mercy. As we conclude the Christmas season, this dinner becomes a living reminder that Epiphany is not just a story from long ago—it is an ongoing invitation to let God’s light shine through us into the world.

An Epiphany Program will be presented at 6:00 p.m. followed by the sit-down dinner in Fellowship Hall at 6:30. Carry-out meals available at 5:30 p.m. and a pre-recorded program will be available on Facebook and YouTube. 

If you plan to attend, please confirm online or contact the church office.

This year’s menu includes:

•  Pide (crispy flat bread)
•  Shiraz bi-Buqual (medieval cheese and walnut dip)
•  Spelt Bread
•  Rosemary Slow-cooked Pork Roast with Sausages
•  Mustard Sauce
•  Honey roasted chicken
•  Saffron rice pilaf
•  Carrot pudding with currants and dates
•  Sweet & Sour red cabbage
•  Salad of lettuces, fennel, mint, parsley, flowers, and egg
•  King cake

As we conclude the Christmas season, our hope is that this dinner will become a living reminder that Epiphany is not just a story from long ago. It is an ongoing invitation to let God’s light shine through us into the world.
