Gnosis is practical self-knowledge: how your psychology works, why the consciousness sleeps, and the techniques used across the world's great wisdom traditions to awaken it. It is knowledge verified through your own direct experience, not belief and not just intellectual study. Ontological, or Being-centred, Psychology is an integral model of the human being that brings clinical and scientific psychology together with the perennial wisdom of the great traditions.

At this lecture you'll get an overview of what the course covers, including essence, personality and the pluralised "I", the four states of consciousness and practical techniques for awakening, karma and dharma, the mysteries of life and death, the Ray of Creation and an introduction to the Kabbalah, meditation, pranayama and the transformation of impressions.

Gnosis predates and underlies all religions, so this is not a religious course, and no prior study of Gnosis, psychology or any spiritual tradition is needed, only a sincere interest in understanding yourself. Open to anyone in Midrand, Johannesburg, Pretoria or wider Gauteng.

The same lecture also runs Monday 7 September at 7 PM and Wednesday 9 September at 7 PM, so come to whichever suits you.
