- **Event Description**: Spend the hot days of summer creating cool characters and bringing exciting stories to life through the art of comics.

Each week, students will explore a different aspect of comic creation through short instructor-led lessons covering topics such as character design, storytelling, panel layouts, dialogue, action and movement, marker shading techniques, sound effects, and more. After each lesson, students will have time to work on their own comic ideas with guidance and feedback from the instructor.

Whether students are creating brand-new heroes, villains, and sidekicks or continuing stories from previous comic classes, they'll develop their artistic skills while learning the fundamentals of sequential art. Throughout the session, students will work toward completing a polished comic page, cover, poster, or story scene to proudly display and preserve.

This class is perfect for young artists ages 8+ who love comics, graphic novels, cartoons, manga, and storytelling.

No prior comic experience required.

This class is instructed by Audrey.
