- **Event Description**: See resident and migratory birds up close, as birds are caught in mist nets and banded for research. Join bird bander Belinda Kisting and CNC staff at the Homestead Farm.

All banding, marking, and sampling is being conducted under a state and federally-authorized Bird Banding Permit issued by the U.S. Geological Survey's Bird Banding Lab. All birds are handled under the supervision of the people holding these permits.

If it is raining or windy, banding will not take place. If the weather is questionable, please call the front office on the day of the scheduled banding and stay tuned to our social media pages for updates.
