Meet Princess Rex, an incredible Baudin's Black Cockatoo from Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation Centre (featured in the picture!). She will steal the show and inspire you to plant for cockatoos! Hear about the amazing rehabilitation work that Kaarakin does and how they have revegetated their land to provide essential food for cockatoos.

50% of ticket proceeds are donated to Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation Centre and 50% contributes to Perth NRM’s Carnaby’s Cockatoo Project.

Receive a seedling to take home to get you started.

Please bring a water bottle.

This event will involve walking on lose gravel paths, uneven terrain and slopes. Enclosed shoes and sun protection are required.

This project is funded by the Australian Government Natural Heritage Trust and delivered by Perth Natural Resource Management, a member of the Commonwealth Regional Delivery Partners panel.
