A Heart Surrendered
“Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.” Luke 22:42b

As women, the desire for control can be an overwhelming pull in our lives. We often pray, "God's will be done," but what does it truly look like to live that prayer out? It requires a radical surrender—a release of our own wills, desires, and perfectly laid plans to a trustworthy and good God. When we learn to release everything we carry and let go of what we cling to, we discover a peace only Christ can give. 

Join us for our 11th annual Women's Conference as we dive into God’s Word to explore what it means to live a life surrendered to Christ. Through powerful worship, main sessions, group discussions, a lite dinner theatre and a prayer walk, this conference will both encourage and challenge you. Invite a friend, neighbor, or co-worker and come learn as Barbara Knopp teaches us, through scripture, on how we too can have a heart of surrender.

About the Speaker
Barbara Knopp is a dedicated Bible teacher, currently serving as the Teaching Director for Women’s Community Bible Study, where she has been ministering for 20 years. Her deepest passion is studying and sharing God's Word, which she does not only at CBS but also monthly in our 4 year old Sunday school class. Barbara and her husband, Roy, have been married for 44 years. They relocated from Texas to Midland 30 years ago and have attended Midland Free for the past 24 years. Together they have two adult children and four cherished grandchildren. In her free time, Barbara enjoys sewing, spending time with her sweet grandchildren, and going on adventures with her husband.
