Chief Noonday Chapter 14th Annual Shoe Year’s Day Hike

Join the Chief Noonday Chapter 14 th Annual Shoe Year’s Day Hike!

These 2 and/or 4-mile loop hikes are on natural surface (rain, shine, or snow). Porta-Potty’s available. Leashed pets are welcomed on the hike.

Registration 10:30 am – Hikes will begin as groups form
Start and End Location: Long Lake Yankee Springs Recreation Area, 10370 Gun Lake Rd., Middleville, MI 49333.

Choose 2-mile loop or 4-mile loop hike. Turn around as desired. Advise sweep when leaving group.

There will be signage along the road and volunteer parking attendants to aid with designated parking areas.

Hot beverages and pastries available for purchase on site from “River Road Food Truck.” Campfire available for warming.

New memberships to join “Chief Noonday Chapter” of the North Country Trail Association $10.00 off day of hike.

Come out to help kick-off “North Country Trail Hike 100 Challenge” for January 1 – December 31, 2026.
