The BEST time trial races in the Midwest, the YSTT regularly draws 700+ riders eager to challenge themselves on some of the most advanced and best-maintained singletrack in the state.

The event truly offers something for everyone. Free strider and kids races range from 0.5 to 2.0 miles, while registered race distances span 10 miles for beginners up to 22 miles for expert and elite riders. Whether it’s your first race or your fastest season opener, there’s an event for you.

The iconic Deep Lake Trail is 95% singletrack, challenging yet fun, with enough passing room to support racing. Riders start every 10-30 seconds, creating plenty of space on course—it’s you against the clock.

Racing not your thing? Come for the Post-Race Hangout to celebrate with friends, fellow MTB riders, and event vendors. Enjoy great food from The Grilling Company, beverages from City Built Brewing Company, browse Daylight Brand and KOM Cycling merchandise, and cheer on award winners. It’s a great way to kick off the spring mountain bike season and connect with the MTB community.

The Yankee Springs Time Trial is a 100% volunteer-run, West Michigan Mountain Biking Alliance (WMMBA) benefit event. All proceeds directly support trail maintenance and improvements across West Michigan.
