On Sunday, September 21st, you are invited to celebrate the earth-based holiday of Autumn Equinox (or Mabon) at Harbin Hot Springs. 

The Autumn Equinox divides the day and night equally, and we take a moment to pay our respects to the waning sunlight and the impending dark. This holiday is also when we “reap what we sow,” literally and figuratively. It is the time when we stop and relax and enjoy the fruits of our harvests, whether they be from toiling in our gardens, working at our jobs, raising our families, or just coping with the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Night and day stand equal in duration, thus is it a time to let go of the past and honor a moment of balance.

LOGISTICS: We will gather and connect at 5:30pm in the garden above the Harbin apple orchard. We will share what we wish to release from this year and honor the setting sun as we say goodbye to the last of the longer solar days of the season. Herbal pouch making, releasing what no longer serves us, web weaving, honoring the harvest bounty, and more will be a part of this special gathering. Bring a towel to sit on if you'd like, and your awesome, introspective self.

This event is in person and is included for free with paid entrance to Harbin. Please reserve your Harbin stay in advance!
