- **Event Description**: Sound Healing Training Series — Fall 2026 💜

Have you ever wanted to learn how to use sound intentionally — for yourself, with others, or even to create your own sound healing sessions?

Join us this fall for a six-class, hands-on Sound Healing Training Series at Middletown Sound.

Beginning October 18, we’ll spend six classes learning, experimenting, practicing and — most importantly — actually playing the instruments.

No musical experience is needed. Just curiosity and a willingness to learn. 💜

What we’ll explore:

✨ Foundations of Sound Healing
Learn what sound healing is, how and why it can affect us, the role of intention and mindfulness, and the basics you’ll build on throughout the series.

🥣 Singing Bowls
Explore both crystal and metal singing bowls and learn different techniques for playing and working with them.

🔔 Gongs
Get hands-on experience with different gongs, mallets and playing techniques — and learn how to use the gong intentionally rather than simply making a lot of noise. 😉

🎶 Other Sound Healing Instruments
Explore chimes, drums, tuning forks, rain sticks, ocean drums and many of the other beautiful instruments that can become part of your sound practice.

💜 Creating Private Sound Healing Sessions
Learn how to bring everything together for one-on-one work, including hands-on practice using different settings and techniques.

🌿 Creating & Facilitating Group Sound Baths
Learn how to build a sound journey, choose and arrange instruments, create flow, read the room and confidently hold space for a group.

Fall Class Schedule

October 18 — Foundations of Sound Healing
October 25 — Singing Bowls
November 8 — Gongs
November 15 — Other Sound Healing Instruments
November 22 — Private Sound Healing Sessions
November 29 — Group Sound Baths

All classes are 11:00 AM–3:00 PM.

Because our training groups are intentionally small, if an unexpected conflict arises, there may sometimes be flexibility to adjust a class date when the group is able to agree on an alternative.

And yes… you get instruments! 💜

Each student receives a set of three crystal singing bowls to keep, so you’ll leave the training with not only knowledge and hands-on experience, but instruments of your own to continue practicing with.

You’ll also receive a comprehensive training guide and, upon completing the series, a Certificate of Completion.

This isn’t about memorizing a script or learning one “right” way to do sound healing. It’s about understanding the instruments, experiencing them for yourself, practicing with others, and developing the confidence to create experiences that feel natural and authentic to you.

Small class sizes • Lots of hands-on practice • No musical experience required
