The series offers three to four screenings each academic year, alternating between Wesleyan University and Russell Library. All events are free and open to the public.

The first screening of the 2026–27 season is Singing Back the Buffalo on Monday, October 5th at 7:00PM at the Wesleyan Goldsmith Family Cinema at 301 Washington Terrace, Middletown CT.

Richly visualized and deeply uplifting, Singing Back the Buffalo is an epic reimagining of North America through the lens of buffalo consciousness and a potent dream of what is within our grasp, which follows Indigenous visionaries and communities who are rematriating the buffalo to the lands they once defined.
