Building Balance

Join us for a playful workshop that wakes up the tissues and the brain with a series of activities and exercises that instantly improve balance. Exercises learned can be practiced to treat balance like a muscle that needs a good workout.

Christine Altman, RES-CPT is known for her light-hearted but highly specific approach to mechanics-based structural analysis and restoration. She is a favorite teacher for those seeking guidance and knowledge on everything from an individualized route out of chronic pain, to unlocking the mysteries of a functional core. A dedicated student of Katy Bowman, Christine teaches and practices pure Restorative Exercise sprinkled with wisdom gained from years of clinical practice. She runs The Vital Gaitway, in her hometown of Torrington, Connecticut, one of a handful of facilities in the world devoted to teaching this practice. She is staff at the Nutritious Movement Center in Sequim, Washington, and has performed teacher training throughout the United States and China. Christine has gained a reputation amongst clients and colleagues for facilitating rapid results. She applies meticulous observation and rigorous training with the heart, hand and eye of an artist.
