- **Event Description**: You are cordially invited to learn the ballroom dances of the late 19th century (Victorian) era! Join Susan de Guardiola in Middletown, Connecticut, for a class on dances of the 1870s in preparation for the Centennial Ball in Hamden on July 25th!  

Note that you need not be attending the ball to attend the class - all who wish to learn a little about this period of dance are welcome!  No previous dance experience is required and no partner is necessary. 

Please bring clean shoes to protect the dance floor.  Flat shoes with leather soles will be easiest to dance in -- no spike heels, please!

The class fee is $18.00 per person, in cash at the door -- no pre-registration required; just show up! Or pay online in advance for a special $15.00 advance rate via the ball website:

Class will be held on Sunday, July 19th, from 2:00-4:00pm at Vinnie's Jump & Jive, 635 Main Street, Middletown, CT 06457. Note that some apps give the wrong address for Vinnie's. 635 is the correct street number.
