Tree ID Winter Woods Walk

A leisurely walk through Sullivan woods with frequent stops to discuss different trees, their forms and physical attributes and how to identify them by sight even in winter. We will be joined by plant ecologist and botanist, James Graves and Vermont forest and parks forester Lisa Thornton.

Bring a pencil and notepad if you want to take notes; wear weather appropriate clothing and footwear for a short not too difficult hike in the woods.
