Join us to get started with this slick, dynamic, improvised partner dance. You’ll learn fast and have fun immediately so you can join the party! No partner necessary.

Schedule:
2-5pm - Introduction to West Coast Swing workshop
5-5:45pm - Dance practice/ meet & greet with local dancers and teachers
5:45pm - Guided tour of the dance space, then break for dinner 
7pm - Evening dancing starts (plan to stay for at least an hour or two!)
8:30pm - Silly competition

Details:
• 3 hours of instruction from World Champion teachers Myles Munroe & Tessa Cunningham Munroe.
• Access to the biggest Madison social dance party of the year so you can dance the night away.
• Relaxed practice session with a Meet and Greet with friendly local dancers and teachers.
• Guided tour of the event and dance space to help you feel more comfortable joining in.

Tips:
• No partner or dance experience required so invite your friends! You’ll rotate between various partners during the class. You can choose to lead or follow, whatever you prefer.
• Progressive classes so make sure you attend from the beginning, if possible!
• Wear comfortable clothing (pants recommended) and leather- or suede-soled shoes. Dancing in socks work too!
• Hydrate! We’ll provide water stations.
• Bring a snack or enjoy local eateries during the break.
• Bring an extra shirt or change of clothes as you may want to freshen up.
