Madison's Youth Choirs' winter concert series, “In Other Words,” will feature hundreds of local young singers exploring the way composers use musical language to communicate ideas and emotions that transcend text alone. With guidance from our guest Teaching Artists-in-Residence, Tom Cabaniss and Asher Blank, MYC singers have discovered how composers turn feeling into sound and how they as interpreters can turn sound into story through the quietly powerful act of reflecting on another person’s perspective and experience.
MYC’s nine ensembles will perform in three distinct concerts over the weekend of December 13-14, 2025.
