Craft Weekend 2026

Join us for four days of hands-on workshops, shared meals, and creative community at the Rochester Folk Art Guild in the Finger Lakes.

Craft Weekend is an immersive summer gathering where participants spend the weekend learning a craft with experienced instructors while enjoying time outdoors, good food, and evenings together. This year’s workshops include observational drawing, theater, writing, photography, pottery, gardening, weaving, and woodturning.

Participants receive about 18 hours of instruction in their chosen class, along with daily lunch. Overnight guests also enjoy breakfast and dinner prepared with fresh, local ingredients. Outside of class, you can swim in the pond, explore the trails and studios, join optional morning yoga, and gather for relaxed evening activities.

Open to all skill levels. Youth participants are welcome.
