MOTHERS AND DAUGHTERS
How a woman’s relationship with her mother in childhood affects her life
The relationship with our mother is the first and most important relationship in our lives.
It’s in this relationship that our personality, our connection to our body, and our sense of self-worth are formed.
Here, we also take on the scenarios that will shape the way we live our lives as adults.
Many of us live according to scenarios that are not truly ours. They were formed in childhood - from our mother’s experiences, her perspective, her ways of handling life. We absorbed them unconsciously because we wanted to be loved, accepted, and safe.
However, these scenarios do not always reflect our true nature. Sometimes it feels as we are playing someone else’s role instead of living our own life.
Even the best qualities of our mother (e.g., strength or dedication) can harm us if we take them as obligations that do not fit our true nature. Instead of following our own path, we begin to repeat our mother’s story.
This lecture is designed to help you recognise those foreign scenarios, distinguish them from your own, discover your true nature, and understand how your relationship with your mother shaped your personality.

FATHERS AND DAUGHTERS
How a woman’s relationship with her father in childhood affects her life
The father is the first male figure in a daughter’s life, and the relationship with him shapes how we see men, intimacy, self-confidence, and our ability to feel strong inner foundation.
Our relationship with him also influences the relationships we form with life itself, with people, with our career, and with money.
In this relationship, we learn either to trust or fear closeness, to accept our feelings or hide them, to choose courage or adapt.
If the father appeared weak, perhaps constantly criticised by the mother, a certain image of masculinity is formed within us. Later, this can show up in relationships, where we repeatedly choose weaker partners.
If the father was unavailable, emotionally or physically, we learn that closeness is dangerous or simply unattainable. Women often fear trusting men or try to “earn” love by adapting to their expectations.
Until we see our father as he truly is, and recognise whether we are viewing him through our mother’s eyes or through the eyes of our inner child, these patterns will continue to repeat, even if we are not consciously aware of them.
This lecture is designed to help you see your father through your adult eyes, distinguish your own experiences from your mother’s projections, and break free from recurring scenarios that have been shaping your relationships, choices, and life.
