Due to a lack of interest in the original competition I have changed the date and the events of this competition. The entry fee is also lower so anybody who has entered can either have a full refund or the £10 difference back.
The competition will be now 3 events in powerlifting style but with the following 3 strongman events;
Max Kratos Bar Deadlift: athletes get 3 attempts to achieve a max lift, deadlift suits are NOT allowed, any kind of straps are ok.
Max overhead clean and press; athletes can pick log or axle, or change between them, 3 attempts again.
Max weight farmers 5 metre carry: again 3 attempts to achieve a max weight
Athletes will not be split by ability level, if you are a novice please see this as a chance to max out in a supportive environment.
There will be a male and female overall winner and also a body weight winner for each to give lighter athletes a chance. If there is sufficient interest we will also add a junior (under 18) winner for each. There is a £50 prize for each of the overall winner and trophies for the 4 winners.
