Billy No Mates is a collective of freelancers and remote workers that gather at local independent venues across the North. Set up in 2023 by designer Sarah from KINSHIP, after craving company as a home worker.

About Play Middlesbrough:

Play are a bar and events space just outside the town centre in Middlesbrough. They host themed quiz nights, music bingo, live bands, DJs and more every week. As well as top-notch street food including pizza & loaded fries from Crust.

Play offer a range of cold drinks, if you fancy a coffee to start the day we recommend another great Boro independent - Off The Ground. Just a short walk into town, takeout coffees from OTG are welcome at Play. They are opening for the mates from 9.30am - grab one before you head over?

• reduced loneliness and isolation amongst freelancers and remote workers
• increased footfall and exposure to local independent businesses
