Middleport 5K Bridge Walk

Join us for Middleport's 1st Annual 5K Bridge Walk.
Beginning at the Historic Train Depot Park on the Buckeye Border Trail (Ohio River Bike/Walk Trail.) Registration will begin at 9am at the Train Depot Building. Walk will begin at 10AM. The 5K Walk will follow Buckeye Border Trail along the river north towards the Honor Bridge. Walkers will cross at West Main Street the AutoZone mark. Local law enforcement will assist in safe trafficking and street crossing. The Walk will continue over The Bridge of Honor where the turn around point is the Mason County Veteran's Memorial Monument on the Mason , WV side. Once all walkers return to the Train Depot Park in Middleport, awards and prizes will be handed out.
To encourage our local little walkers to participate, a 2K walk distance will be measured off only along the Buckeye Border Trail bike path. Youths under 14 years old MUST be accompanied and registered by an adult.
We are happy to be coordinating this awesome event with local schools, and organizations.
