- **Event Description**: Members of the Experimental Aviation Association Chapter 5 are hosting a week-long Day-Camp designed for kids in grades 7 through 11 with a real interest in AVIATION! The summer camp will be open to new campers and held at the Geauga County Airport in Hangar 3 from 9:00 am to 3:45 pm. Students will actively participate in learning about aerodynamics, parts of a plane, flight operations, careers in aviation; will develop skills in map reading, riveting, woodworking & building; and will be given opportunities to tour the airport facilities and to “fly” on flight simulators. There will be daily activities such as glider flying contests & scientific experimentation, as well as fun recreational activities. Space is limited to 18 students to allow for more hands-on opportunities. There will be an opportunity to take a Young Eagle Flight (parental permission given and weather permitting) on Saturday, July 11th. (Sunday, July 12th will be the rain date.) 
Registration forms and $150 fee are due by Thursday, May 14th, 2026.
