Mark those calendars and join the Michiana Country Kickers crew for a Beginner Plus/Easy Improver Workshop and Open Dance Party event! We're doing a mid-month Saturday Workshop & Dance Party at the American Legion, Post 210 in Middlebury, IN! Our day workshop of beginner+/easy improver level-focused lessons will help ease you into it if you're new and want to learn and can even "up your game" a little bit if you already have a few steps under your boots! Come on out for our BEGINNER PLUS/EASY IMPROVER LINEDANCE WORKSHOP from 3:00-5:00 PM. Then bring those newly acquired skills back to show them off at our OPEN LINE & PARTNER DANCING from 7:00 to 11:00 PM (or beyond…)* ALL ages and skill levels are welcome! *Under 18 can dance with us until 10:00 PM. You can also come early for the open dance or stay after the workshop and have dinner and drinks before dancing with us from 5:00 to 7:00. Please, no outside food or drinks allowed. Chris will be teaching some familiar beginner and improver-level dances during the day workshop, and then DJ'ing, taking song and dance requests all night. There may even be another quick lesson or two mixed in later on! This is a PERFECT opportunity for NEW dancers to come out, learn some basic moves to a few popular songs, and experience line dancing with a fun bunch of folks that are always willing to help you along if you get a little tripped up! There's a full bar and lounge area with big screen TVs, dart boards, and even more friendly faces for those that don’t want to dance or need a break between songs.
