About the event

Empires of Greece and Rome

This course will review how the ancient civilizations of classical Greece and Rome in wars and revolutions, rejected monarchy and established democratic and republican systems. Those regimes in turn collapsed as they built international empires, which in turn declined and fell.

Class meets Mondays from January 5-February 9, 12:45-2:05 pm in Fellowship Hall 2.
