This summer, give your young artist the chance to create, explore, and be inspired by nature at the Friendship Botanic Gardens! Led by professional watercolor artist and educator Alexandra Hibshman, each camp offers two days of engaging, age-appropriate instruction in the gorgeous indoor and outdoor spaces the Conservatories have to offer!

With a K–12 education degree and years of experience teaching watercolor workshops across Michigan and Indiana, Alexandra brings a thoughtful, encouraging approach that helps kids build artistic skills and confidence. Campers will learn watercolor techniques, sketch from observation, and complete projects inspired by all the beautiful nature at the gardens.

Bonus! Each camper will receive their choice of one of Alexandra’s signature watercolor kits—so they can continue painting and growing their skills long after camp ends.

All materials are included, and no prior experience is needed—just a love for creativity. Class sizes are kept small for personalized instruction, so be sure to reserve your spot early!
