During this 1-hour tour (11:30am-12:30pm), you will be guided through Sebastian Inlet Clams Hatchery and Land based nursery and learn about the clam and oyster life cycle, environment. Including why they are so important to a healthy Indian River Lagoon, how stormwater pollution impacts them, algae, and more! You’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at how clam and oyster farming works and even take a peek at living larvae and adults! Please wear closed-toe shoes during this mainly outdoor tour.

Note: All participants are required to sign a waiver upon arrival. Terrain during the tour can be uneven and there may be hoses on the ground, uneven brick, etc.
