The folks in the 1940s knew how to turn even tricky soil and weather (yes, even Northeastern Oklahoma!) into thriving gardens full of fresh vegetables.

Now it’s your turn to dig in! ?

Join us at the Miami Public Library for a fun gardening lecture where a local gardener will tell you how to grow your own food at home and build your very own green thumb.

Whether you’ve never planted a seed or already have a backyard jungle, this is a great chance to learn, grow, and get your hands a little dirty!
