What is the CBC Lunch & Learn Series?• Every month we cover a different grief-related topic• Attendance is FREE (so is lunch!)• 30 minutes for networking lunch + 1 hour of educational content with Q&A • All topics are relevant to those working with grieving children & families• Attend when you can – come to 1 Lunch & Learn or all 10. Whatever works for you!• Each month, a new Community Host will briefly present on how grief impacts the work they do• Always held the last Thursday of the month at Lotus House

This Month's Community Host - Guitars Over Guns
Guitars Over Guns is a Miami-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that offers students from disadvantaged backgrounds a powerful combination of music education and mentorship with professional musicians to help them overcome hardship, find their voice and reach their potential as tomorrow’s leaders. Guitars Over Guns creates safe spaces for youth to express themselves through music and empowers them to make positive choices at school, at home and in their communities.
Continuing Education Credit:1 CE credit is available to mental health professionals (i.e., LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, Psychologists) for a fee of $20. To receive the credit, please bring $20 cash or a check paid to the order of "Children's Bereavement Center" to the event. You will receive your certificate upon the completion of a brief survey.
