Wire Working Skills & Techniques Workshop

In this class you will learn the foundational skills for making advanced jewelry designs. These important skills are crucial for making any style of jewelry using precious metals like gold and silver. We will cover design techniques, how to make wire link beaded bracelets, necklaces and earrings. You will learn to fabricate your own findings (aka clasps and ear wires for earrings). We will also discuss how to work in a production style to complete projects quickly and efficiently. The techniques and designs you will learn do not require expensive equipment, and these foundational skills are important for making advanced types of jewelry.

About The Instructor

The workshop is lead by the renowned Steven Brownlee, founder of Jewelry Creations Workshop. After successful professional training and experience at the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts in San Francisco and gaining certification as a jewelry technician with Jeweler of America, Steven was driven to teach and start the Jewelry Creations Workshop in his hometown in South Florida. Steven’s passion for jewelry making and his ambition to keep learning, sharing, and inspiring others to create resonates through the workshop on a daily basis. He loves teaching jewelry making classes and is always happy to see a new face in the studio.
