He went on to win First Prize at The Leeds International Piano Competition in 2018, the first American to do so since Murray Perahia. A recipient of the 2021 Avery Fisher Career Grant, he has also been a BBC New Generation Artist and is an exclusive Warner Classics recording artist.Eric has performed with top orchestras, including the Chicago Symphony, London Symphony, and Boston Symphony, under renowned conductors such as Riccardo Muti and Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla. He appears regularly at major venues, including Wigmore Hall and Warsaw's "Chopin and His Europe Festival."His acclaimed recordings, including Schubert Sonatas and Chopin's 24 Preludes, affirm his status as one of today's finest interpreters.
