Expect to see GIANT whale's, the 100-foot flying octopus and cuttlefish, the 30-foot flying Astronaut, the 300 sq foot parafoils, the 100 foot flying Stingray's and more!Hosted by Skyward Kites and Miami-Dade PROS.We encourage our guests to make their kites in their traditional styles from countries they may want to represent and fly them! In years past we have had a traditional kites flown from the Bahamas, China, Colombia, Jamaica, Trinidad, Peru, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and many more. It is a fantastic way to celebrate the unique diversity of cultures that South Florida has.People of all ages are encouraged to come out to fly their kites. There is no limitation to the size or type of kite. Those who just want to watch can bring a blanket and enjoy the sight of hundreds of kites in the air and some great music.
