The Bitches Box - Episode 4 is coming to Methven for a special fundraising night, proudly supporting Friends of Methven Primary School (FOMPS). Featuring much‑loved comedy duo Emma Newborn and Amelia Dunbar, this live show delivers their iconic canine characters through fast‑paced physical comedy, sharp storytelling, and rural humour Kiwis know and love.

Set during a not‑so‑typical mustering day in North Canterbury, Episode 4 is told from the dogs’ point of view. With pack matriarchs Red and Twink stuck in the bitches’ box and tensions running high, underdogs Wayne and Dick see their chance to shine with chaotic and hilarious results. Packed with heart, nostalgia, and barking‑mad moments, this high‑energy comedy is a love letter to life on the land, seen through four muddy paws.

Doors & bar open from 5:30pm, giving guests time to grab a drink and view and bid on our silent auction items.
Show starts at 7:00pm followed by the Auction of Big Ticket Items, featuring special experiences and offers generously donated by our local community.

All funds raised during the evening will support learning support initiatives at Methven Primary School, including additional teacher aide hours, learning resources, and accessibility equipment, helping ensure every child has the support they need to thrive.
