SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER: Carolyn Olson (Senior Care Advisor)

Carolyn Olson has joined Senior Care Authority Louisiana as a dementia and eldercare advisor. Carolyn will provide guidance, training, and assistance with housing solutions for families and professionals caring for the elderly and people with dementia.

Carolyn Olson has devoted her career to the healthcare industry serving in a variety of positions including clinic practice manager, rehabilitation community care coordinator, and business development. Most recently Olson worked as a Healthcare Account Executive for A Place for Mom where she assisted healthcare professionals and families with referrals to senior living communities

Do you take care of a loved one and wish you had a safe place to socialize with others? Please join us at our monthly gathering of caregivers and people experiencing challenges while we do activities and get together with other community members to discuss life.

This is not a medical program (though we may have guest speakers discuss topics with participants and may offer some resources) and is designed to provide a safe social environment for those who are caring for or people experiencing cognitive and/or physical challenges.

Open to caregivers AND patrons with cognitive and/or physical disabilities
