Watercolor Texture Techniques Workshop

Discover how playful watercolor painting can be in this beginner-friendly workshop all about creating rich, interesting texture in unexpected ways.

You’ll explore a variety of brush techniques along with creative methods that use everyday items—like toothbrushes, straws, and even sandpaper—to make unique marks, patterns, and effects on your paper. This class is all about experimenting, letting go of perfection, and seeing what happens when you try something new.

Along the way, you’ll build confidence with watercolor while learning simple tricks you can use in future paintings to add depth, movement, and personality. The class will culminate in a fun and expressive final abstract painting that pulls together various techniques.

No experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to play. All supplies provided. Ages 16+
