Please read waiver!About this EventThank you for signing up for a one hour Somatic Breathwork™ session.Please read the below waiver to prepare for you session:Somatic Breathwork™ is a full embodiment experience designed to help you release stress, trauma, emotions and pent up energy from the body. It is a modality that utilizes your own breath to help shed the layers of yourself that no longer serve.Somatic Breathwork™ uses a circular diaphragmatic breath to tap into your body's innate inner intelligence to find the areas that need clearing. Coupling the breath with immersive music may result in different forms of cathartic emotional releases such as laughing, moving, crying, yelling, and shaking. All forms of expression are encouraged because it allows the body to move any stuck energy and create space for the second half of the breathwork session.A gentler breathing technique is used in the second half of the session to help you connect with who you truly are. Together we can use the breath to call in how you want to show up in the world, the changes you want to embody, and allow you to see clearly what it would be like to live your best life.Please allow 2 hours for the following:15-30 minutes for Intake and overview of the Somatic Breathwork™ session60 minutes for Somatic Breathwork™ session15-30 minutes for Integration and sharingOptional 15 minute follow up call 3-5 days after sessionYOU WILL NEED -> Water, a journal if that's something you find helpful, and try not to eat 1-2 hours before. Wear something breathable and comfy. I encourage you to create some space in your day after the session ends for a deeper integration!By signing up for this session you agree to these terms: I acknowledge that Somatic Breathwork™ is a deep and powerful process. It involves rapid and prolonged breathing that is designed to activate intense emotional responses. I have notified the practitioners of any physical injuries, mental or psychological conditions I have. I engage in this experience willingly and take full responsibility for my own physical, mental and emotional experiences during and after the session.Contraindications:Somatic Breathwork™ is intended as a personal growth experience and should not be looked upon as a substitute for psychotherapy. It is not appropriate for pregnant women, for persons with cardiovascular problems, including angina or heart attack, high blood pressure, glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, history of seizures, stroke, major psychiatric conditions, recent surgery, acute infectious illness or epilepsy. My choice has been voluntary and I may terminate my session at any time.
