Speaker Series: Operation Market Garden

Explore the largest airborne operation in history, a bold Allied attempt in September 1944 to seize key bridges in the Netherlands and break into Germany. The ambitious plan combined U.S., British, and Polish airborne troops with ground forces in a high-risk offensive. Despite initial successes, the operation ultimately failed to secure its final objective at Arnhem, with heavy losses, particularly for the British 1st Airborne Division.
