Step inside Mesa’s mid-century past during the 2026 Historic Home Tour, featuring five remarkable homes in the Golden Hills neighborhood. Known for its distinctive desert modern design, Golden Hills represents a unique chapter in Mesa’s architectural history.
This year’s highlight is the Ponderosa II — a full-scale replica of the Bonanza ranch house built in 1963 by actor Lorne Greene. For the first time ever, the Ponderosa II is available to the public to tour, offering a rare inside look at this iconic Mesa landmark.
Guests will explore the Ponderosa II along with four additional mid-century homes that showcase the charm and innovation of the era.
All attendees must check in at the Jefferson Recreation Center, located near Power Rd. and Broadway.
Please note: Do not go to the Mesa Historical Museum; the museum is approximately 25 minutes away from the tour area.
Parking is at the rec center only.
A shuttle will transport guests to and from the Golden Hills neighborhood.
No street parking is available at the homes.

Timed entry slots with limited capacity.
