Our ambition is to create a cinematic Welsh feature film with real cultural weight — the kind of film Wales can be proud of.We've already secured stage one funding,  a significant cast and director that makes this prospect really exciting. The project is being developed alongside an experienced production team, with an internationally recognised director attached, and a creative vision rooted in the same spirit and honesty found in films such as The Commitments, Pride and The Full Monty.We're bringing together a carefully selected group of people for this evening because we believe each person in the room can bring something valuable to the journey of the film — whether through perspective, connections, experience, influence, collaboration, or support.On the night, we'll:– Share the story and vision behind the film– Give a first look at the tone, world and creative direction– Hear directly from the director and producing team about bringing the film to screen– Talk about the journey ahead and the wider opportunity surrounding the project– Open the floor to conversationYou can preview the film deck in the attachment ahead of the evening, to give a flavour of the world, ambition and creative direction behind the project.A hot meal and refreshments will be provided on the evening.
