A looped walk of approx 18km (11.2 miles) heading out around Pontsticill Reservoir, taking in the Beacons Mountain Railway, Up to the Naughty Stone via the quarry and finally trig 617m before heading back down to the car park,

The meeting point and start point for this walk is at the parking area for Pontsticill Reservoir, Merthyr Tydfil, CF48 2UW https://maps.app.goo.gl/jsBzcxAvyUCipBf79 

Please use the postcode as a guide with the dropped pin being more accurate once in the area. 

Parking here is free and cars are left at owners risk. 

The route will be led by a qualified mountain leader with at least one first aider holding both outdoor & canine first aid qualifications. Safety kit will be carried.

Attendance will be limited to no more than 12 people on a first come first served basis. Non walking group members are kindly asked to book places via my website: www.upperlimits.co.uk
