Whether youre new or experienced, theres always more to explore in Scouting. The University of Scouting is the council's largest single-day training event, open to all registered adults, Scouts BSA youth, Venturing Crew members, and Sea Scouts.
This event brings together participants from across the council for a full day of high-impact, hands-on learning. With dozens of sessions offered across multiple tracks, attendees can:
Build outdoor and technical skills
Strengthen leadership and communication abilities
Learn best practices in unit operations, advancement, and safety
Discover new ideas to enhance the Scouting experience
In previous years, breakouts included topics like Trail to Eagle, Knots and other Adult Awards, Leading Scouts with Disabilities, Knots & Lashings, Outdoor Cooking Trips & Tricks, Religious Knots, and Scoutbook Plus software.
