ACMS will be available to speak with anyone interested in becoming a School Crossing Guard in Fairfax County. Many positions throughout the County are available. Earn $33 an hour, working 1/2 hour in the morning before school and 1/2 hour in the afternoon after school.

November 17-21, 2025 is dedicated to raising public awareness about the critical role and challenges of traffic incident responders and how our communities can positively affect traffic safety on our roadways.

Join the Fairfax County Police Department and their community partners for a kick-off event dedicated to promoting safer conditions for all road users. The event will feature the following
participants:
Fairfax County Police Department
Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT)
Virginia State Police (VSP)
Henry’s Wrecker Service
Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department
