- **Event Description**: At Great Plains SPCA, we believe it's important that all dogs receive basic training, from how to walk well on a leash to being comfortable with strangers.

Our Basic Obedience Class is a 6-week course where we will cover basic safety and commands, leash walking and impulse control. Each six-week session is one day per week and costs $250. It all ends with a certificate and a well-behaved dog on graduation day... cap and gown optional!

Late Winter Basic Obedience Training Sessions
· Saturday (3pm-3:50pm), January 11th to February 15th 
· Sunday (3pm-3:50pm), January 12th to February 23rd *Skipping 
  February 9th for Super Bowl Sunday*
· Tuesday (6pm-6:50pm), February 4th to March 11th 
· Thursday (6pm-6:50pm), February 6th to March 13th

Alumni Pets receive a $50 discount. We also offer residents in Overland Park, Leawood, Lenexa, Prairie Village, Shawnee, Bonner Springs, and Lake Quivira a 20% off discount! Please email behaviorteam@greatplainsspca.org for your promo code.
