Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: What payment options do you offer?
A: Cash at the door, digital payments (Easy Pay ID), pre-paid Loyalty Cards.
Q: What should I wear?
A: Comfy and stylish clothes you can move in. Bring a hand towel and maybe a spare shirt for warmer nights. Flat, smooth-soled shoes are essential (no grippy soles!). Dress casual, vintage-inspired, or whatever makes you feel great – just bring your smile and positive energy!
Q: Do I need to bring a partner?
A: Nope! We rotate partners in class to help you learn faster and meet everyone. (If you prefer dancing with your own partner, that's cool too – but rotating speeds up your progress!)
Q: How long does it take to learn swing dancing?
A: Commit to at least 4 beginner classes in a row, plus some home practice. With dedication and a fun attitude, you'll be swing dancing confidently before you know it!
Q: Are kids welcome at the venue?
A: Yes! Our venues are family-friendly, and we love having dancers of all ages join the fun.
Q: Is there a bar or restaurant at the venue?
A: Absolutely! Both spots have bars and restaurants – perfect for making a full night out of swing dancing, grabbing a bite, and chilling with the crew.
Q: What if I think I have two left feet?
A: Everyone starts somewhere! Our patient, friendly teachers make classes accessible and enjoyable for all. You'll be amazed at what you can do, just embrace the fun and smiles along the way.
Q: Do you offer private lessons?
A: Yes! Reach out for personalised one-on-one coaching tailored just for you.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We acknowledge the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land on which we dance, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present, as well as to emerging leaders.
We acknowledge that the core dances we teach, perform and share come from African American and Black culture, as does the jazz music we love. We acknowledge that we do so without lived experience of this culture and are deeply grateful to be able to experience this amazing art form. We endeavour to continue educating ourselves about the historical, political and social context from which jazz and lindy hop grew, and in which it exists today. Understanding this helps us to honour the roots of the dance and music.
