Billy Ocean, the biggest Black recording star Britain has ever produced, has sold more than 30 million records and topped the pop charts around the globe. Born in Trinidad and raised in London, he rose to fame in the 1970s and 1980s with global hits including “Love Really Hurts Without You,” “Caribbean Queen” (which earned him a Grammy), “Suddenly,” “There’ll Be Sad Songs,” and “Get Outta My Dreams, Get Into My Car.”
